Ingredients

  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 yellow onion sliced
  • 2 cups tomato puree
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix: tomato puree, tomato paste, maple syrup, soy sauce, dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, pepper, paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, onion powder, onions, and garlic in slow cooker.
  2. Add: pork to slow cooker and coat it in sauce.
  3. Cook: on high for 6-8 hours or on low for 8-10 hours.
